The Southwest Alberta Sustainable Communities Initiative (SASCI) will be hosting a workshop aimed at helping community service organizations to design and deliver a compelling volunteer program. The workshop features special guests who specialize in training and hands-on involvement in the design and implementation of outstanding and sustainable volunteer programs in both the private and public sectors.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our not-for-profit organizations, which are so vital to the vibrancy and growth of our communities. Recruitment and retention of volunteers is an ongoing challenge.
